MARSHALL, Texas (BRAIN) — Mad Dogg Athletics Inc., one of the pioneers in studio cycling, is suing Peloton for patent infringement. Mad Dogg says Peloton infringes on two of its patents on electronic stationary bikes.

BRUSSELS (BRAIN) — Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, a Belgium-based investment group, has agreed to acquire a majority share in Canyon Bicycles. GBL was joined by Tony Fadell, a former senior vice president of Apple's iPod division and co-developer of the iPod. Roman Arnold remains the largest individual shareholder in Canyon, with 40% of its shares.

WASHINGTON (BRAIN) — Burley Design is recalling about 780 Dash X FM child bicycle seats because a piece that holds the seat in place can detach, making the seat unstable. The CPSC said Burley has not received any reports of injuries as a result of the problem.
