COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (BRAIN)—Two Colorado Cyclist employees were killed on August 6 when a motorist apparently drove her one-ton pickup into a group of cyclists, according to Colorado Springs police and local news accounts.

HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (BRAIN)—Jax Bicycle service manager Joe Schraff died on August 4. The 38-year-old was diagnosed with cancer in 2004.

“The guy had a super strong work ethic,” said John Haywood, general manager of Jax Bicycle Huntingon Beach store, where Schraff worked at. “The guy was always on it.”
