Saris Infrastructure releases public e-bike charger station

Published June 9, 2022

MADISON, Wis. (BRAIN) — Saris' new eBike Charging Station is a public-use, universal e-bike battery charging system that also provides the user with a secure means of parking their bike. The stations can be set up inside or outside in a covered location. Each dock has a 120v/240v outlet that is designed to be used with the bike owner's own charger; the charger is secured inside a locker while the bike is on the station. The locker is secured with a padlock.

The dock's wheel wells accommodate wheels from 20-29-inches in diameter and up to 5-inch wide tires. Each dock has illustrated instructions for the user. An active cooling system prevents chargers from overheating while in use. Pricing starts at about $1,500 per unit. The docks are made in the U.S. and meet UL/CE certifications.
