REXFORD, N.Y. (BRAIN) — PrestaCycle's new PrestaWrap is intended as a long-lasting tire boot for cut or torn road tires.
"It's the dollar bill trick .... on steroids," said PrestaCycle's David Finlayson.
The wrap uses permanent adhesive to form a structural cylinder of reinforcing strength around a tube. It is stretch-proof, tear-proof, and weighs less than one gram. It's available now from PrestaCycle distributors. MSRP is $9.95 for a package with four boots.
