New book gives inside view of a race mechanic's life

BOULDER, Colo. (BRAIN) — VeloPress' new book title, "Bike Mechanic: Tales from the Road and the Workshop," is marketed as an all-access pass to professional cycling's service course.

The book was written by Guy Andrews, the founder and editorial director of Rouleur magazine. Co-writer Rohan Dubash is a technical writer, specialist bike consultant, and writes for Rouleur. The book includes photographs and interviews with professional bike technicians for UCI ProTeams and offers a behind-the-scenes tour of the team trucks and the workshops that support cycling's top riders.
