CHICAGO (BRAIN) — SRAM is acquiring the cycling apparel brand Velocio, according to Velocio's owners.
The purchase closed on March 3 and was announced publicly on Wednesday, Andrew Gardner, Velocio's chief marketing officer, told BRAIN and VeloNews.
EASTON, Pa. (BRAIN) — Roam Investment Group, led by former Allied Cycle Works COO Paul Jarrell, has acquired Speedsleev, the maker of minimalist saddle bags and handlebar bags.
STUTTGART (BRAIN) — Porsche announced Thursday plans to acquire a 20% stake in the German e-bike drive system manufacturer Fazua GmbH and also will partner with Pon Holdings' Ponooc Investment B.V.
INDIANAPOLIS (BRAIN) — Specialized Bicycle Components added to its growing list of company-owned retail stores by acquiring the four-store Gray Goat Bicycle Co. chain, two sources have told BRAIN.

AMES, Iowa (BRAIN) — Cycle Force Group, LLC has been acquired by Messingschlager GmbH, a German distributor. The sale closed on Dec. 31, 2021.
HEERENVEEN, Netherlands (BRAIN) — A consortium headed by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. reached a conditional agreement to buy the Accell Group N.V. The group, which includes Teslin Alpine Acquisition B.V., reached agreement on an all-cash offering for the shares for 1.56 billion euros ($1.76 billion).

DETROIT (BRAIN) — Cardinal Cycling Group, a new company formed last year to acquire the TIME bicycle business from Rossignol, has acquired Detroit Bikes.

SEATTLE (BRAIN) — Kona Bicycles has been acquired by Kent Outdoors, a Ohio-based company that was known until Wednesday as Kent Water Sports. Kent Outdoors owns several outdoor sports and watersport brands, including the Arbor snowboard brand.
VANTAA, Finland (BRAIN) — Amer Sports has sold the Finnish adventure wearables brand Suunto to Liesheng, a Chinese technology brand. Amer is the parent of Enve Composites, Louisville Slugger, Arcteryx, Wilson and other brands, and the former owner of Mavic.
BALTIMORE (BRAIN) — Trek Bicycles has purchased Maryland's Race Pace Bicycles, which has seven locations in the Baltimore area.
