HOLBROOK, NY—News that Iron Horse Bicycle Company would discontinue sales of its bikes in the independent bicycle dealer channel drew mixed reactions from the brand’s retailers—some were let down, while others said they saw the move coming.

MILAN, Italy (BRAIN)—Oakley sales continued to soar in the second quarter of 2008 with the company reporting another period of double-digit growth. Sales jumped 19.6 percent in the second quarter, on top of the 15 percent growth Oakley saw in the first quarter of the year.

He had been a part of the industry for more than 20 years.

Rodriguez had been working for J&B since 2001 at its Fort Wayne, Indiana location.
