NEW YORK (BRAIN) — Vista Outdoor's Action Sports group, which includes its bike helmet and accessory brands Bell, Giro, and Blackburn, recorded a 50% revenue growth in the most recent quarter, compared to a year earlier. Sales in the group totaled $105.2 million in quarter, which was the fourth quarter of Vista's 2021 fiscal year, ending March 31.

Full fiscal 2021 revenue in Action Sports was $329.3 million, up from $298 million in fiscal 20 and $306 million in fiscal 2019.

Vista's Outdoor Recreation group, comprising CamelBak, Camp Chef, and Bushnell Golf, also had a strong quarter, with sales of $88 million, up 43% year-over-year.

The company said the year-over-year improvements in the two groups were driven by new product introductions and e-commerce along with higher participation in outdoor recreation. The company also noted that it launched Blackburn accessory sales in Walmart during the fourth quarter.

Company-wide, Vista Outdoor's revenues for the year were up 27% to $2.2 billion. Adjusted gross profit was up 76% to $634 million.

In the company's Shooting Sports group, revenues were up 28% to $1.5 billion; gross profit in the group was up 102% to $427 million. Shooting sports provided about 68% of the company's revenues in the year, with the Action Sports and Outdoor Recreation groups providing the rest.
