BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (BRAIN) — Quality Bicycle Products is warning its customers to be wary of emails purporting to be coming from company owner Steve Flagg and asking for payment.
The company said it recently became aware of the scam and said retailers should not send any funds to the sender of the email and if they have, they should contact their bank immediately. QBP said it has not made any changes to its payment systems.
The company also suggested that retailers visit phishing.org to learn more about phishing scams and how to prevent them.
