PORTLAND, Ore. (BRAIN) — With more than 1,000 responses already received, a university researcher is asking the industry to promote an online survey on how consumers use e-bikes. June 23 is the last day to take the survey.

SEATTLE, Wash. (BRAIN) — Rad Power Bikes, a Seattle-based direct-to-consumer electric bike company, has joined Velofix's bike delivery program, Velofix Direct. Consumers now have the option of having their new e-bike assembled, tuned, and delivered by a Velofix mobile service provider, where available.

Still room for more exhibitors, organizer ECRM says; Canyon Bicycles signs on.

SOLON, Ohio (BRAIN) — Bike PressCamp organizer ECRM said Thursday that it saw a surge in exhibitor signups last month coming out of the Sea Otter Classic, and now has 21 brands set to attend the June 19-23 event.

MONTEREY, Calif. (BRAIN) — Final attendance numbers were still being tallied Monday, but early numbers pointed to a record year for the Sea Otter Classic, which ended Sunday. The annual bike festival, expo and race hosted more than 400 exhibitors, five miles of branded fence and 920 sponsor banners.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (BRAIN) — The state of Arkansas has signed into law a new electric bicycle bill, HB 2185, making it the fifth state in the U.S., after California, Utah, Tennessee and Colorado, to pass e-bike legislation modeled after a pioneering California measure to create three classes of e-bikes.
