CHICO, CA (BRAIN) — Paul Component Engineering has begun construction on a 2,000-square-foot addition to its factory, increasing its square footage by 50 percent.
The company said the addition was necessitated by 21 percent average annual growth over the last five years.

EMERYVILLE, CA (BRAIN) — Folding bike maker Tern and cargo bike maker Xtracycle have teamed up on, you guessed it, a folding cargo bike, the Cargo Joe C21.
The 26-inch wheeled bike will be sold through each brand's retailers with a MSRP of $999.

CARLSBAD, CA (BRAIN) — Focus Bicycles is returning to the WorldTour with a three-year agreement to sponsor France's Ag2r-La Mondiale team. The brand will be the technical sponsor of the team, which will ride a new Izalco Team SL model for the 2013 season.
