SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN) — Participants in this year's RTC Viva Bike Vegas Gran Fondo, held in Las Vegas the day after Interbike closes, will be allowed in to the show for part of its final day.

PHILADELPHIA, PA (BRAIN) — The Philly Bike Expo, a consumer show, will move into a larger space this year, the newly expanded Pennsylvania Convention Center in downtown Philadelphia. The show is November 9-10.

FRIEDRICHSHAFEN, Germany (BRAIN) — German Chancellor Angela Merkel will attend opening day of the Eurobike trade show this year, Wednesday, August 28.

Merkel will take about two hours to officially open Eurobike and then tour the show.

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Thanks to 2012’s unseasonably warm winter, IBD sales suffered from unfavorable year-ago comparisons this February but showed strength when viewed against the more realistic 2011 period, according to data from research firm Leisure Trends Group.
