Mühltal, Germany, 20/08/2026: Riese & Müller, the premium manufacturer of e-bikes and cargo bikes, is expanding its operational management level to include a Chief Financial Officer: Richard Bohl will take on the role of CFO from 15 August 2026. In this role, he is responsible for the company’s financial management and reports to the executive management.
With his many years of experience in finance and controlling, Richard Bohl will support the management in the continued growth of the company and provide centralised support for finance-related issues and processes.

Many years of experience in financial management
Richard Bohl has many years of leadership and management experience in corporate finance, international controlling, and corporate transformation. Bohl held senior financial positions for over ten years and most recently held the role of Managing Director at a company in the healthcare sector. In these positions, he was responsible for overall commercial control with a focus on finance and accounting, corporate and project controlling, and liquidity and treasury management. He also supervised transformation processes on an operational and strategic level.
