Cycling Distribution Network reps all three; BEX to handle D2C and BTB sales for all three renowned brands

Asheville, North Carolina (March 14, 2023) -- If you’ve ever dreamed of owning a legendary custom Basso, stealthy Berria or iconic Lee Cougan bike, the process just got much easier in North America: Cycling Distribution Network (CDN), the US distributor of all three brands, has recently signed on with BikeExchange (BEX), the largest online marketplace in the bike industry, as the exclusive ecommerce platform. Bikes will be available in April, and all online retailer or consumer sales for these illustrious brands will be processed through each brand’s personal BikeExchange storefront.

BEX will also handle 3PL services in the US for all three brands, in cooperation with their subsidiary Kitzuma Cycling Logistics. Inventory will be warehoused in their Asheville, North Carolina facility, one of two nationally. And as they do with all their subscribing brands and retailers, BEX will process the online sales, handle payments, track inventory, and arrange for direct shipping to the buyer whether a dealer or end consumer.

CDN Founder Craig Steyn sees the relationship as a win-win for the brands and customers. “The BEX/Kitzuma partnership with CDN allows dealers and their customers to benefit from a logistics infrastructure that is specific to and focused on the cycling industry. In addition to the logistical benefits, the relationship with BikeExchange is extended to CDN’s dealers, creating additional opportunities for dealers and the brands represented by CDN. Joining BEX was an easy decision for us; our retailers are enthusiastic, and our consumers can now find these amazing bikes on this one-stop, user-friendly platform.”

Garret Becker, Head of Sales North America for BikeExchange/Kitzuma shares the enthusiasm. “We’re thrilled to partner with CDN and their acclaimed brands, and we’re confident we can assist them in growing their presence in the North American market,” he adds. “Our customers across North America now have three more great brands to choose from when shopping at BikeExchange; the one-stop shop for all things cycling.”
