BOULDER, Colo. (Dec. 21, 2022) – Camber Outdoors, the national nonprofit organization dedicated to amplifying diverse voices across the outdoor industry by supporting outdoor-recreation focused organizations as the vehicle of change to create diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces and spaces across the outdoor industry, released part one of its key findings from its 2022 Workplace Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Report. This key findings report showcases and celebrates actions taken in inclusive culture and leadership practices by Camber partners over the past three years.
In 2020, with the support of DEI researchers and methodologists from Claremont Graduate University, Camber launched the Camber Survey System to measure progress across committed Camber partners in creating inclusive cultures, equitable, supportive systems, and the attraction and retention of a diversity of talent. Now in its third year of the Survey, Camber is pleased to share insights and data shaping workplace DEI strategy across its partners in the outdoor-recreation industry.
