NYC-based bicycle manufacturer launches raffle of four custom-painted bicycles by renowned artists: Dirty Bandits, Jason Naylor, Vexta, Jessie Salinas
New York, NY (June 1, 2022) – NYC-based Priority Bicycles announces the Priority Delivers Fundraiser in partnership with You Are Not Alone Murals (YANAM) and will direct all proceeds to the mental health organization, NAMI-NYC.
Throughout May, Priority Bicycles rolled out a special initiative in support of Mental Health Awareness Month and YANAM, called Priority Delivers. The team tapped renowned artists – Dirty Bandits, Jason Naylor, Vexta, and Jessie Salinas – to each custom paint a Priority bicycle that was then used to deliver thousands of artist edition postcards with the message “You Are Not Alone” to unsuspecting New Yorkers through a series of group rides. The goal was to spark hope, connection, and conversation about the importance of mental health.
The custom painted bicycles are now the center of the fundraiser where participants can enter to win the rolling works of art. All money raised via this charitable raffle will be donated to NAMI-NYC who offer free services to help families and individuals affected by mental illness.
“Bicycles can naturally play a positive role in mental health, so we are excited to amplify the impact - transforming them into unique canvases that put the ‘You Are Not Alone’ message into motion,” says Connor Swegle, CMO of Priority Bicycles. “With this project, we are able to inspire a conversation around mental health in a creative way that spreads hope in the community.
The raffle begins today and will accept entries through June 17th, each artist bicycle raffle is linked through the Priority Delivers Fundraiser page. Winners will be drawn June 23rd.
"Priority Delivers has created a nice way to have interaction outside, off your phone, off your computer, but in places where we don’t necessarily have murals,” says Annica Lydenberg, Co-Founder You Are Not Alone Murals. “This year, I feel our reach is able to go even wider, and the raffle of the one-of-a-kind artist painted bicycles extends it a step further and helps raise funds for a hard-working, dedicated mental health organization.”
