Orlando Manufacturer Increases Production by 30%
Orlando, Florida. – March 1, 2022, Catrike has announced the addition of four new members to its Orlando, Florida, based production team. Ntuli, Trevor and Rohondo join the fabrication and weld team, while Andrew comes aboard to bolster assembly.
"We are excited to welcome these new highly skilled members to our Catrike production team," said General Manager Mark Egeland. “The additions to the team will give us the ability to meet demand while maintaining efficiency and quality. Strains on the supply chain have been a challenge over the past 18 months, but the flexibility of our production process has allowed us to adapt and continue to grow in 2022 and beyond."
The increase in production will also shorten the wait time for Catrike's line of electric-assist trikes. The eCAT line uses a Bosch Active Line Plus electric-assist drive mated to a 1 x 11 drivetrain. The eCAT line consists of six models and has been in high demand since its launch in 2020.
Catrike's office and manufacturing facility are located in Orlando. They are sold exclusively through IBDs with a network of over 200 dealers worldwide.
