Hermann Hartje KG from Germany welcomes a new executive. Coen Bosch, a Dutchman with lots of experience in the industry, will manage the export business in the area of bicycles/bicycle parts for the German wholesaler and manufacturer from May 01, 2021. As Export Sales Manager, Bosch will take on a connecting role between the company and its existing and future distribution partners.

"The first weeks have been exciting and I feel very welcome" explains Coen Bosch. "I see a lot of potential for HARTJE to take a bigger role in the European market. We also have ambitions that go beyond Europe and I'm looking forward to that."

At the moment, Bosch concedes, it will be necessary to wait a bit for the overall market to normalize somewhat. Together with HARTJE's management, he is currently preparing the strategic direction for southern European markets such as France and Spain.

HARTJE Managing Director Dirk Zwick goes on to explain: "We are delighted to be able to fill this important position with an experienced and well known specialist in his field. With Mr. Bosch, we are making great strides towards our goal of further international growth.

Coen Bosch brings many years in the industry to his new role: Before starting at HARTJE, he was responsible for the Parts & Accessories business and its strategy on a large scale at Accell Group from 2018 to 2020. This was preceded by almost five years at the former Philips subsidiary Lumileds, where he was Senior Sales Manager for Northern Europe. Before that, Bosch spent more than six years at the two-wheeler division of Apollo Vredestein.
