SANTA FE, N.M. — Bicycle Technologies International, the Santa Fe-based distributor better known as BTI, is now offering Event Gear's bike racks to dealers on a national basis.
Event Gear's modular style hitch racks are designed to make life simple for the user, accepting most standard bike types, including fat and e-bikes, without requiring adaptors or modifications.
Dave Bailey, BTI's purchaser for the brand, stated "BTI has been seeking a competitively priced, well-constructed rack to add to our product mix, and the MAX racks are the perfect answer. They are light, easy to use, and can carry up to 60 lbs."
Bailey also noted that if the dealer purchases 2 racks, they would qualify for BTI's free freight program, providing additional savings.
The Max rack weighs under 20 lbs, so it is very easy to install or remove. The racks can be left on the vehicle, as their low profile won't block rear lights, license plates, or hatch/ trunk access, or quickly removed and stowed in the vehicle or hung on a peg in the garage.
Event Gear's MAX rack single model retails for $249, with the 2nd bike rack coming in at $199.
