In an effort to ramp up its presence in North America, Promovec has brought on two bike industry veterans. Steven Harad will run US and Canadian operations as General Manager, and Andy Shaub will act as Program Manager.
OEM PROVIDES A STRONG FOOT IN THE DOOR
Promovec, a popular Danish e-bike and e-kit manufacturer, is looking to expand operations into the North American market. "We are expanding our presence in North America for several reasons," explains Chief Commercial Officer Helge Sørensen. "Firstly, service is imperative for both us and our continuously growing portfolio of customers. Many of which are international cargo bike manufacturers experiencing massive growth in the North American market." Sørensen went on to detail that in order to help their OEM customers achieve their goals it was imperative for Promovec to strengthen both its service and overall brand presence in this increasingly important market.
GREAT POTENTIAL AND BIG AMBITIONS
Manufacturer supply aside, the primary aim is to grow the Promovec name internationally. "Promovec has been present in the North American market for several years now," added Harad. "The brand holds the potential to massively scale up sales of its best-in-class e-bike conversion kits and e-bikes, while leveraging its outstanding service and strong organizational setup in Europe." Promovec also has a solid reputation for being able to satisfy customer needs with customized solutions – a quality which fits perfectly with the wants and needs of the target customer. Harad concluded, "We have big plans and a very strong foundation to help achieve them."
