Asheville, NC – Cane Creek Cycling Components has announced that, in 2019, they achieved higher sales in dollars than in any other year in the company's twenty-eight-year history. This marks the third consecutive year of record-breaking growth for the premium component manufacturer despite a challenging environment in the overall cycling industry.
Cane Creek's growth has largely been driven by the introduction of 37 new products since 2017 and an expansion of their overall line with products such as the acclaimed eeWings titanium cranks and innovative Hellbender Neo Bottom Brackets.
To support this growth, Cane Creek is hiring, or has recently hired, seven new employees in multiple areas throughout the company - from engineering to marketing to suspension production. This includes the return of design engineer Brandon Blakely who was with Cane Creek from 2011 to 2017 before leaving the company to pursue other opportunities. In Blakely's previous time at Cane Creek, he was instrumental in helping design, test and develop some of the brands most innovative and influential products - such as the Double Barrel Coil IL shock.
"We're on a roll at Cane Creek - literally and figuratively." said Brent Graves, president and CEO of Cane Creek. "We're a group of riders out on our bikes, talking to other riders, and dreaming up wild ideas for products that we would want to ride. That's been a really successful strategy for us and has enabled us to differentiate ourselves from other manufacturers that are steering closer to the mainstream."
Cane Creek expects their success to continue in 2020 with another year of record-breaking sales and a full release schedule of new products. For more information about Cane Creek, visit the company's website at www.canecreek.com.
