Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) of Bloomington, Minn., was named the 2019 "Employer of the Year" by Metro Transit, a Twin Cities-based transportation agency, in recognition for its efforts to encourage sustainable transportation. The award was presented to QBP at Metro Transit's annual Commuter Choice Awards in May.

In announcing the "Employer of the Year" award to QBP, Metro Transit noted some of the company's efforts to encourage sustainable commuting, such as financial credits for commuting or using alternative transportation; commuter credits to employee Health Savings Accounts; and special discounts on bicycles and related gear.

"It's an honor to receive this award from Metro Transit," said Seth Nesselhuf, Director of Community and Sustainability at QBP. "Our company mission is "Every butt on a bike," which we support with great benefits and a workforce of individuals who are helping to transform communities through riding bikes."

QBP is a bicycle company that builds innovative, world-class brands, and distributes bicycle products from the best vendors in the industry to more than 5,000 retailers in North America.
