Mark your calendar for The Borah Epic on Saturday, June 8, 2019 near Hayward, Wisconsin. The Borah Epic has become a staple in the Midwest mountain bike racing calendar since it's inception in 2013.

For 2019, the event is making some updates to create a better racer experience. The Full and Half Epic courses have been flipped (don't worry, the course will still go DOWN Gravity Cavity!), and will now be finishing in Cable. The Full Epic will start at Hatchery Creek near Hayward and the Half Epic will start at Hwy OO. They will both finish at a post race party in downtown Cable. Both distances will start with wave starts to alleviate start congestion. Busing is also available from finish area parking to the start, making the finish much easier for tired racers.

The Gravel Epic is a new 30-mile gravel option for all skill levels of riders. It's a great option for riders who want to try out something new, experience great terrain and views, and take in the experience without committing to the singletrack.

Registration is limited (550 for the Full Epic, 200 for the Half Epic, and 200 for the Gravel Epic) and fills up quickly, so sign up soon for an epic experience and to pay tribute to the trails in the Wisconsin Northwoods.

In addition to the mountain bike event, the Epic will host an online auction to generate additional proceeds for the CAMBA trail system starting in May.

ABOUT THE BORAH EPIC

Since 2013, the Borah Epic has donated over $85,000 to the Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association. This annual funding not only serves as a powerful support tool for CAMBA, but one that ultimately comes full circle with new and improved trails for the Epic each year and the greater riding community in the woods of northern Wisconsin.

On June 8, 2019 The Half Epic Starts at 10:00am at the Hwy OO Birkie Trailhead, the Full Epic starts at 10:30am, Hatchery Creek Park, in Hayward. New in 2019, the 30-mile Gravel Epic, starts in Cable at 10:00am. See you in the Northwoods!
