(BRAIN) — Park Tool's new FSK-1, Fork Seal Kit, is a complete kit for fast, easy, and safe removal and installation of suspension fork dust wipers.
The kit's removal/installation tool safely pries out old wipers without damaging the inner surface of the fork. Then, in conjunction with one of the eight installation drivers sized for common wiper sizes, the tool is used to drive the new wiper in place.
The installation process can be done by using the tool as a slide hammer, or by impacting the end of the tool with a mallet. The tool's removal tip is replaceable, and spare steel and plastic tips are included.
The kit includes installation drivers in the following sizes (number corresponds to fork stanchion size): 30 mm, 32 mm, 34 mm, 35 mm, 36 mm, 37 mm, 38 mm, 40 mm.
