Shimano to open urban pop-up store in New York City this summer

NEW YORK CITY (BRAIN) — Shimano is opening a pop-up concept store here next week, where it will feature 33 bikes using the brand's new urban component groups, Metrea, Alfine and Steps. 

The store is at 473 West Broadway, at West Houston and West Broadway, and will be open from June 23 until August 20. 

The store is called Shimano Bike NYC. Besides showcasing the new bikes, it will offer rentals and host events and weekend tours. It will not be selling any products, a representative told BRAIN.

The store is now accepting reservations for rentals and group rides at its website, shimanobike.nyc.

The store's concept bikes are from Moots, Seven Cycles, Land Shark, Trek, Evil, Cryptic Cycles, 8bar, Walleranf, Raleigh and Opus.
