Evo opens Denver store

Published November 29, 2016

DENVER (BRAIN) – Seattle-based Action sports retailer evo has opened its new store in Denver. Evo also has stores in Seattle and Portland, Oregon; earlier this year it bought longtime Denver retailer Edgeworks and Bicycle Doctor.

Evo renovated and expanded Edgeworks/Bicycle Doctor's location at 860 Broadway. The nearly 10,000-square-foot space now features a full-service ski, snowboard and bike shop, alongside a retail floor with evo's mix of hard goods, technical apparel, streetwear, footwear and accessories.

The store's art gallery will host a series of grand opening events starting on Monday, Dec. 5, benefitting Denver's SOS Outreach, a nonprofit organization for at-risk youth.

"We are excited to engage with such a thriving community in Denver. The evo DNA is all about creating a place where people who share passions for the outdoors come together, and Denver is the perfect location to bring that to life," said Bryce Phillips, evo's founder and CEO. "At evo, we love weaving art, music, film, service, philanthropy, sports and gear together, and that is fully represented in our beautiful new space in Denver."
