BROOKLYN, N.Y. (BRAIN) — Champion System is setting up a custom cycling and triathlon clothing ordering system through Performance Bicycle's website.
Champion System will facilitate the design, ordering and delivery process through PerformanceBike.com.
"Never has a bicycle retailer of Performance Bicycle's size and demographic aligned with a custom apparel company. We are thrilled to be working with a company of Performance's caliber to take the custom apparel experience to the cycling masses," said Scott Kaylin, co-founder and president of Champion System.
Bill Heins, Performance's divisional merchandise manager, said, "We know that custom apparel is important to our customers. Our partnership with Champion Systems allows us to offer high quality, great looking cycling clothing for their team or club, or individuals who want their own unique kits."
Performance will be run a "Design a Jersey Contest" later this month where individuals can create a jersey for Performance Bicycles. The top designs will be chosen by a panel of judges and then the public will vote the winner. The winning design will be a limited edition Performance Bicycle Summer Jersey available at PerformanceBike.com and the winning designer will get a jersey of his or her own.
