Stages offers dealers new POP display

Published December 30, 2013

BOULDER, CO (BRAIN) — Power meter maker Stages Cycling is offering dealers a new point of purchase display that can be mounted on slatwall or countertops, and features a modular display.

The POP is made of a composite with an aluminum veneer with a Stages meter crankarm and four heavy foam-core placards that can be swapped out to suit retailers' needs.

The placards "allow retailers to change the display down the road, and also lets retailers customize the display to suit their shop," said Stages marketing manager Matt Pacocha. For example, the placards can include a road, triathlon or mountain bike image, technical information or pricing information.

The POP was designed by industry veteran Dave Whittingham of Boulder's DRW Design. Stages is selling it at cost — $79 — to dealers, or it's free to dealers who stock fives Stages meters.
