Endurance House celebrates opening of fourth store

Published December 2, 2013

OCEANSIDE, CA (BRAIN)—Specialty retailer Endurance House continues its expansion with the opening of a fourth store in mid-November. The new location is the company’s first in California, opening less than one month after a third store opened in Colorado in October.

Jondi and Grace Bernardo operate Endurance House Oceanside. Both are triathlon competitors with 20-year racing careers.

“We are thrilled to be Endurance House operators,” said Jondi Bernardo. “We had been looking for a business that would tie in with something we love to do, and this is a perfect fit. It’s not only about the products and services Endurance House offers but also about the philosophy of enriching our community by helping every person who walks through our doors get the most out of their athletic efforts and by being an active supporter of local organizations and events.”

Endurance House is a growing chain of retail stores catering to triathlon, iron-distance triathlon and marathon competitors, as well as runners and walkers of all abilities. Jamie and Tara Osborn founded the company in 2006 in Madison, Wisc. Three more stores are slated to open in 2014 in Georgia.

A grand opening celebration was held at the Oceanside store Nov. 9-10, with prizes including a Quintana Roo Kilo tri bike.
