SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA (BRAIN) —Emotional-marketing guru Graeme Newell will be the keynote speaker for the Interbike Industry Breakfast as the trade expo opens later this month. Newell is a customer loyalty expert who shows organizations how to build deeper, more passionate relationships with their customers.
“The way businesses market to consumers is changing, and it starts by developing evangelists for our sport,” said Pat Hus, vice president of Interbike. “We’re excited to have Graeme at the Industry Breakfast — teaching the techniques needed to help drive sales in an engaging and thought-provoking way.”
Newell’s presentation, "How to Develop Loyal, Passionate Customers Who Become Evangelists for Your Business," will expose retailers and manufacturers to ways they can reinvent their brands as a lifestyle, not just a seller of products. Through a series of short dynamic examples, he will show that consumers are not just looking for great gear — they want to buy from a company that shares their hopes and personal values.
Presented by the NBDA and PeopleForBikes, the Interbike Industry breakfast will take place at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Wednesday, Sept. 18, with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. All registered Interbike attendees are welcome to attend at no charge, and free breakfast will be served for the first 500 attendees. Presentations will begin promptly at 7:55, and will end no later than 9.
Newell is president of 602 Communications, a marketing research and consulting firm. He has done research and consulting for corporations including: GE, Disney, Sony, Hearst, ABC, CBS, Madison Square Garden, Time-Warner, Comcast, News Corp, and Universal.
