CALABASAS, CA (BRAIN) — Moots is opening its first U.S. boutique store as part of a cycling-themed business establishment in Los Angeles County that mixes retail, a café and a full-service restaurant.

Moots’ The Shop at Pedalers fork joins the 10-Speed Coffee Café and the Pedalers Fork farm-to-table restaurant. All three are set to celebrate their grand opening Monday, April 22.

The Shop at Pedalers Fork will exclusively sell Moots bikes and components and offer complete bike service and all amenities for road, mountain and cyclocross.

“We are vey proud to be part of Pedalers Fork,” said Jon Cariveau, marketing manager at Moots. “This innovative approach and impeccable attention to detail and design has been woven together blending bikes and locally grown craft food creating a bike shop environment like no other. We look forward to helping Pedalers Fork become a destination for cyclists to meet, eat, ride and become more familiar with Moots.”

The Shop at Pedalers Fork is located in Old Town Calabasas, with quick access to numerous mountain biking trails and road riding. Weekly rides, bike-related meals and social gatherings are planned.

“The Pedalers Fork experience is distinctive, unlike anything else,” said Robbie Schaeffer, owner and founder of Pedalers Fork. “From the beginning, our focus has been on local production, sustainability and community. Moots was the natural choice as we mutually share these philosophies, values and the commitment to exceptional quality.”
