WILTON, Conn. (BRAIN) — Cannondale is issuing a mandatory service bulletin to upgrade to its Lefty suspension forks from model years 2014-16 and some 2017 forks to equip them with its new 2Spring system.
"This is a completely redesigned spring system that not only eliminates previous ride performance issues but also adds substantial performance improvements and industry-leading durability. 2Spring will be equipped on all new Lefty forks and will also be available as a free upgrade from MY14 through MY17," stated Cannondale, which notified its dealers Tuesday.
The free upgrade is available for all Lefty Hybrid (1.0), Lefty 2.0, SuperMax and Olaf forks from MY14-16, as well as MY17 Leftys that do not have a 2Spring decal on the front of the fork above the fork guard. The 2Spring system replaces Cannondale's Solo Air (both Wave Spring and Coil Upgrade) assemblies.
Dealers will be shipped the new systems free of charge and will receive a labor credit for each installation.
Consumers who have questions are urged to visit their local Cannondale dealer or contact Cannondale.
