INDIAN TRAIL, N.C. (BRAIN) — London-based performance apparel brand Le Col has established a U.S. subsidiary and is selling its high-end men's and women's clothing online as well as through select retailers.
Le Col was founded in 2011 by U.K. professional cyclist Yanto Barker, current captain of the One Pro Cycling Team. The brand's apparel is designed in London's West End fashion district and manufactured in Treviso, Italy. The product range features three men's lines, including the top-end Hors Categorie (jerseys and bib shorts priced at $249 and $289, respectively) , as well as a women's collection.
In a release, Le Col said Barker's insights as a racer "have helped shape a cycle clothing range that delivers for the professional and the committed amateur cyclist alike. Every micro detail is fundamentally important to help cyclists of all levels push themselves to their physical limits whilst also looking great."
Le Col USA's headquarters is based in Indian Trail, N.C., and headed by sales and brand director Marc Katz.
