EL SEGUNDO, CA (BRAIN) Feb 9, 09:43 MT—Walmart has added ACT USA and ACT China, independent, third-party ISO/IEC 17025-accredited testing groups, to its list of preferred vendor test labs.
Suppliers of bicycles, helmets, scooters, and specific sporting goods destined for Walmart USA’s retail stores, Walmart.com and Sam's Club can now contract ACT Lab to confirm their products meet the compliance requirements set by the mass merchant, as well as those mandated by the federal government.
“This will also allow ACT to better serve many of our current customers that sell both into the independent retail and the mass-merchant channels,” said John Bogler, ACT Lab’s president and general manager. ACT Lab is one of eight labs worldwide that are included in Walmart's approved lab list.
