COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (BRAIN) — Sara Jarrell has been appointed SRAM's women's program coordinator. The new position will focus on educating women and developing complementary excitement around SRAM, RockShox and Zipp products. Jarrell will lead the coordination of product and technical presentations, ride clinics, women's specific content and unique community building events.

Jarrell began with SRAM 4 1/2 years ago as part of SRAM's Technical Marketing Group, then served as the engineering technician for the brake team. Her new role begins April 19.

"We created this position to tie together all of our women's specific initiatives, Sara is the perfect person, and she has incredible skills and enthusiasm," said Elayna Caldwell, SRAM's MTB brand director.

Jarrell said, "Essentially I get to be a catalyst in getting more women on bikes, which is a topic that I am super passionate about. With the resources of SRAM backing me up I hope to make an impact that strengthens the momentum the industry is already seeing."
