GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (BRAIN) — TerraTrike, a manufacturer of recumbent tricycles and tricycle accessories, is expanding its dealer sales team with the addition of Jessie Gater.
Gater comes from a management and sales background in the online automotive market. She will join the 15 member team at TerraTrike, which celebrated its 20th anniversary last year and which now has more than 200 U.S. dealers.
The privately held company said it saw a 25 percent increase in sales in the first quarter this year, up from 15 percent growth last year. It also has added eight new dealers so far this year.
"We've realized pretty amazing growth over the past few years and Jessie is coming along at the right time to nudge those numbers even higher," said Jeff Yonker, marketing director at TerraTrike. "Her solid analytical skills and proven track record of creating lasting partnerships will be a huge asset to TerraTrike as we continue to increase our market share and expand the brand."
Prior to joining TerraTrike, Gater worked as an advertising consultant and a senior management representative at two national automotive marketplace websites. She graduated from Taylor University with a bachelor's degree in business management.
