True Communications hires Meredith Obendorfer as SVP

SAUSALITO, Calif. (BRAIN) — True Communications, a PR and marketing firm with many bike and outdoor industry clients, has hired Meredith Obendorfer as a senior vice president.

Obendorfer has extensive experience in strategic communications and a personal passion for adventure sports.

Obendorfer will report to True's founder and president, Mark Riedy and will be responsible for client management, nurturing True's talent pool and putting in place operational processes.

Obendorfer has developed communications programs for company's including Hearst, Medium and Outbrain. She has more than 15 years experience racing road, mountain and cyclocross bikes; she's also an avid backpacker and outdoor athlete. She was part of the management committee for Singlespeed Cyclocross World Championships (SSCXWC) in San Francisco 2011 and Los Angeles 2012, managing public relations and social media communications for both events.
