Rubbers tube brand focuses on sales to bike parks

Published October 5, 2016

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN) — Rubbers, which offers inner tubes with innovative packaging, is rolling out a retail program to bike parks across North America.

The company said it has found success being the primary inner tube supplier to several Whistler, British Columbia, retailers tied to the Whistler bike park.

"We're excited to take what we learned this past year at Whistler and deliver a turnkey retail program to bike parks throughout North America," said Rubbers' co-founder, Mark Lavigne. "We want to make it as easy as possible for riders to pick up a tube and get rolling again and make it convenient for staff to restock and reload the shelves. We're also looking to add alternative retail solutions for bike parks with vending machines and a mix of products for quick on-mountain repairs."

Each Rubbers mountain tube has a label that doubles as a tire boot/patch.

Bike park operators and retailers interested in the program can contact Rubbers at info@riderubbers.com.
