KENT, Wash. (BRAIN) — Diamondback Bicycles has introduced a series of educational cycling videos and articles featuring TV personality Bill Nye. The videos are aimed at simplifying the sport to get more people riding bikes, the company said.

The video series, "Let's Ride with Bill Nye," launched Tuesday.

"At Diamondback we like to think bikes are pretty simple, but we've been living and breathing them for 40 years," said Steve Westover, director of marketing for Diamondback, an Accell North America brand. "We realize that for many people getting into cycling can be intimidating, so we reached out to our friend Bill Nye for help. In this series Bill breaks down the basics of biking into easy-to-understand segments, bringing his trademark humor and style to each."

The series includes five videos along with supporting online content, covering various topics such as types of bikes, proper fit, shifting and braking basics, each hosted by Nye.
