Catrike makes Inc.'s 5000 list

ORLANDO, Fla. (BRAIN) — Recumbent trike maker Catrike has made Inc. Magazine's annual list of the the nation's fastest-growing private companies.

The company, founded in 2000, said it has recorded 58 percent growth in the last three years.

Besides the Inc. recognition, Catrike has received two awards for manufacturing excellence from trade groups in Florida. In the last year, Catrike added a dynamic B2B site, Salesforce CRM implementation and has linked all transactions automatically with its SAP enterprise resource planning software, allowing dealers to order online 24 hours a day. Catrike said it has now synchronized transactions across all systems in the company from marketing to production scheduling.

"Catrike believes that the operation excellence brought by its proprietary systems, tied to their awarded production, best-in-class products, engineering focus, long-term commitment from a network of premium dealers, and unconditional customer support is what led to its growth," the company stated. 

Catrike makes all its recumbent trike frames in its Orlando factory.
