PARK CITY, Utah (BRAIN) — All management of Time Sport USA has been moved to the Rossignol Group's North American headquarters here, the company announced Tuesday. Rossignol's parent company, Mont Blanc Sports Group Holding Sarl, acquired Time late last year.
"Time Sport is a brand steeped in innovation and competitive excellence – much like the iconic winter sports brands that represent much of our portfolio," said Ron Steele, the president of Rossignol Group North America. "With impressive production facilities a short distance from our Group's international headquarters in France, the similarities, crossover, and counter-seasonality of cycling and winter sports make the addition of Time Sport a very promising and exciting acquisition for the Group."
Ryan Green, the current head of the Rossignol Nordic Division, will head up the new Time business in the U.S. as director of sales and marketing for TIME Sport USA.
"As an avid skier and cyclist, this role is a natural fit for Ryan," said Steele. "The support of our existing business structure and staff in Park City, and the commitment of additional resources to the cycling business will ensure we continue to provide the support our customers have come to expect of our brands."
The company has hired Carlos Interone, previously a contracted employee of Time Sport USA in Wisconsin. Interone will fill the new role of digital marketing manager for Time Sport USA.
Green said, "We are very excited to welcome Carlos and Time Sport USA into the building. The digital and brand experience Carlos brings to the table is an invaluable asset to the Group. As I accept this new challenge, I look forward to working closely with Carlos and continue building a strong presence in the cycling community for Time Sport."
Time Sport Canada will continue to be managed in Montreal by ARG Sports, Inc.
