Detroit Cycle Supply owner Mark Pierce dies

DETROIT (BRAIN) — Mark Allen Pierce, who owned and operated Detroit Cycle Supply, died Friday at 61.

Pierce had owned the distributor for about 30 years; but it has been in the family since it was founded by Clyde Pierce in 1907 and is still in the same building. 

Pierce is survived by his daughter Haleigh Pierce and brother Eric Pierce.

A visitation will be held Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Harry J. Will Funeral Home, 34567 Michigan Avenue in Wayne, Michigan. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. Visitation begins at 10 a.m that day at the funeral home.
