Pearl Izumi offers fit guarantee on clothing sold at specialty retailers

LOUISVILLE, Colo. (BRAIN) — Pearl Izumi is announcing a new "60-Day Fit Guarantee" that applies to all Pearl cycling apparel purchased at any Pearl Izumi partner specialty bike shops.

If any bike shop customer feels dissatisfied with the fit of their new Pearl Izumi cycling. mountain bike or triathlon product, regardless of usage, the product may be exchanged or refunded within 60 days at the retailer from which it was purchased in-store. To qualify, the consumer must present the original receipt with product; returns can be initiated only at the retailer where the original purchase was made. Pearl Izumi will credit all retailers for all qualifying Fit Guarantee returns.

"Our goal with this program is to support specialty retailers within the industry," said Pearl Izumi's North America go-to-market manager, Scott Papich. "We are confident that removing the consumer's sense of risk over an in-store purchase will encourage them to try new products, which will help bike retailers sell more soft goods. Ultimately it contributes to better equipped cyclists comfortably riding more miles more often, which is good for both the industry and the consumer."

The Pearl 60-Day Fit Guarantee will be valid starting July 1 for consumers who purchase Pearl Izumi RIDE products through Pearl partner brick-and-mortar specialty bike shops. Online sales will not be covered under this program. A Fit Guarantee point of purchase display will be available to all retailers who pre-book with Pearl Izumi.

The 60-day Fit Guarantee is supplemental to Pearl Izumi's lifetime warranty, which covers all products regardless of where they were purchased.
