LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. (BRAIN) — Yakima has launched a new digital training program for its dealers, called Yakima Garage, that will provide retail training videos, product updates and company news.
"Spring 2016 marks the biggest product launch in Yakima's history. Since our retail partners are at the heart of connecting our brand with the consumer, it became more important than ever to find the best way to engage and empower them," said Jason McGibbon, vice president of sales at Yakima. "... It's one more way that we can strongly support our dealers, who have been our backbone since we got our start in 1979. We're excited to continue our investment in our retailers and independent biker dealers, and make it even easier for them to connect Yakima with our shared customers."
By accessing Yakima Garage content, users can earn rewards points for pro deal pricing on products and Yakima merchandise. Yakima Garage also features monthly contests for new products and other prizes.
The digital training platform is hosted by Sparc, a provider of web-based enterprise technologies.
