NEWBURY PARK, Calif. (BRAIN) — Giant Bicycle USA has hired Chris Baer as its new account executive for Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Baer previously was a sales rep in New England for Endura apparel, and also has experience in bicycle and ski retail.
"I welcome Chris' enthusiasm for cycling and the industry," said Mike Abrams, Giant's regional sales manager for the East. "His background will be an asset to the entire Giant USA team."
Baer said he wanted to join the Giant team "... because Giant's core business values and objectives align with my core values and objectives. Giant is the technological world leader in bicycle manufacturing and has the vision to ultimately make for the end-user, the cyclist, the best product in the marketplace." He continued, "The one thing I would like Giant retailers to know about me is that I am absolutely loyal to customers and will do everything in my power to serve them as if I was their customer."
Baer lives in Somers, Connecticut, and officially began his career with Giant on March 21. He's already been traveling much of his territory, meeting his Giant and Liv retailers.
