CARLSBAD, Calif. (BRAIN) — Campagnolo North America has launched its mechanics technical training tour. The company is suggesting that all mechanics who service Campagnolo parts attend. On completion, attendees will receive a Campagnolo certification.
The company said the training is "a very important step" toward a retailer's Pro Shop status, which will allow the store to be listed on the Campagnolo website in the Pro Shop search engine, among other perks.
Topics covered in the clinics will include frame preparation, frame geometry and frame compatibility with Campagnolo parts, as well as the tuning of Campy groups, both mechanical and EPS. The clinics will go over Campagnolo bearing systems and service, Ultra Torque Crank system service, proper measurement, installation, and service of Campagnolo 11-speed chains and service of Campagnolo wheels.
The clinics also will go over the My Campy App, including its features for the end users and those that allow mechanics to troubleshoot Version 3 Campagnolo EPS Record and Super Record.
Daniel Large, based out of San Diego, wil present the Western regional clinics.
Buddy Spafford, based out of Ashville, North Carolina, will run the clinics in the East.
