MILL VALLEY, Calif. (BRAIN) — PR and media relations firm True Communications has hired Greg Fisher as an account manager.
Fisher is responsible for media strategy and outreach with a number of True clients.
"Greg's background in the bike event industry brings a great sensibility around the customer experience, putting him right in the mindset of our valued clients," said True founder Mark Riedy.
"I'm looking forward to having him on our team and I've no doubt that our clients will enjoy having him deliver the visibility and excitement their brands and products demand."
Fisher joins from Bike Monkey, a cycling event company most known for producing the Levi's GranFondo ride. He was a founding member of that team, crafting strategies, growing industry partnerships, and directing all consumer and media communications over its seven-year history.
Fisher also led the now-defunct Bike Monkey magazine for its 20 quarterly and special editions. "
Fisher said, "When Levi's GranFondo needed to grow its media footprint, we turned to the team at True to tell that story and expand the audience that wanted to hear it. Working with True was a fantastic professional experience and being on the other side of that equation with Mark's team is a promising opportunity."
