HELSINKI (BRAIN) — Amer Sports, the owner of Mavic, is expanding in the indoor cycling market with a line of Spinner bikes being offered by Amer's Precor brand.
Precor has reached an exclusive multi-year licensing agreement with Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc., the creator of the Spinning indoor cycling program and Spinner line of bikes, to launch a new line of Spinner indoor cycling equipment in 2016. The two companies will co-develop a new range of indoor cycling equipment, and Precor will assume the manufacturing and distribution of the new range of products, including future marketing and education programs.

"This partnership showcases our commitment to accelerating the growth of our global fitness business as part of the overall Amer Sports growth strategy."
Amer Sports also recently expanded into the functional training category by acquiring the Queenax brand.
