Limar Helmets announces MAP policy in North America

Published June 17, 2015

COSTA DI MEZZATE, Italy (BRAIN) — Limar Helmets SRL has announced its 2015 minimum advertised pricing agreement for all of its North American retailers, including dealers who purchase Limar Helmets from its U.S. distributors.

The agreement sets both an MSRP and a MAP price from which dealers may sell Limar Helmets. The agreement does not set specific promotion periods when dealers can mark the price down, but does allow for discounts at the company's discretion with advanced notice to its dealers.

Limar will also be working with a third-party online price monitoring and MAP enforcement service to eliminate gray-market selling practices.

"The intent of this policy is to create a level playing field for all of Limar's resellers, and to eliminate any unauthorized selling of Limar's products," the company said.

The new Limar MAP agreement and MAP pricing structure is available on Limar's website.
