LEAMINGTON SPA, U.K. (BRAIN) — The British bicycle security brand Hiplok has hired Aspekt Brand Communications to handle the launch of the Hiplok Gold wearable bike lock.
The Hiplok Gold is a 10mm hardened steel chain lock that can be adjusted to fit a rider's waist without being locked. It features a new "speed buckle" design.
Hiplok founder Ben Smith and Ayotte first worked together in 2002 when Smith was product manager at Brooks England and Ayotte handled Brooks' North American public relations arm. Smith and co-founder John Abrahams launched Hiplok in 2011.
Hiplok is distributed in the USA by Quality Bicycle Products, Hoss Active Sports Group, and Cyclone Bicycle Supply.
